Caregiver Support
Caring for yourself while caring for someone else
Supporting a loved one who is struggling with an eating disorder, anxiety, or another mental health challenge can feel overwhelming. Caregivers often take on enormous responsibility while quietly carrying their own stress, worry, and exhaustion. You may find yourself constantly on alert, unsure of what to say or do, or even questioning whether you’re doing “enough.” It’s common to feel torn between wanting to help and needing space for yourself, all while juggling the demands of everyday life.
Being in this role can lead to burnout, guilt, and isolation. Many caregivers put their own needs last, forgetting that caring for yourself is not selfish but essential. When you are depleted, it becomes harder to show up in the ways you want to for your loved one.
Caregiver support therapy is a space just for you. A place to process the weight you’re carrying, find understanding, and learn strategies to care for both your loved one and yourself. In our work together, we’ll explore your unique challenges and build tools to manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and navigate difficult emotions.
My Approach
I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly about your worries and frustrations. Together, we’ll work on reframing unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening your resilience, and developing practical ways to feel more grounded and supported.
My hope is that you leave therapy not only with more effective tools, but also with a renewed sense of balance and confidence in your role. Seeing a loved one struggle is never easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. With space for your own healing, you can show up more full. Both for yourself and for the person you care about.
